Minority-owned mask brand Outlaw Masks made a fashion statement at Super Bowl LV. As fate would have it, Kansas City Chiefs player Tanoh Kpassagnon was on his fashion A-game, showing off his “Wanted White” Outlaw Mask upon arriving at the stadium and on the field.
Co-founders Carlos Gil and Reggie Williams never imagined that their pandemic pivot, coupled with their guerilla marketing efforts, would land them at Super Bowl LV and on ESPN, as part of the best Super Bowl LV arrival ensemble.
“Like any startup, getting others to notice you is no easy task, so you can imagine how Carlos and I felt when we saw our masks featured on ESPN. It’s an incredible feeling to see your product being endorsed by a top NFL player and showcased on a national stage,” Reggie Williams said.
